Data Analyst

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team in Thailand. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide valuable insights that drive informed business decisions and optimize organizational performance.

Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis and Interpretation:

   • Collect and clean data from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity.
   • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations using statistical techniques and data mining tools.
   • Interpret data and provide actionable insights to support business strategies and decision-making.
   • Create visualizations, reports, and dashboards to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.

2. Data Modeling and Forecasting:

   • Develop and implement statistical models, algorithms, and forecasting methods to predict future trends and outcomes.
   • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop metrics to measure the success of business initiatives.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data needs and requirements for modeling and forecasting purposes.
   • Continuously monitor model performance and make adjustments to improve accuracy and reliability.

3. Data Visualization and Reporting:

   • Design and build interactive visualizations and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
   • Create clear and concise reports that effectively communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
   • Present findings and recommendations to management and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making processes.

4. Data Governance and Compliance:

   • Ensure data privacy, security, and compliance with relevant regulations and organization’s data governance policies.
   • Implement data quality measures and establish data governance frameworks to maintain accuracy and reliability of data.
   • Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in data analytics and data management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, with a strong understanding of data analysis techniques and methodologies.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (e.g., R, Python, SAS), data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and SQL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to translate complex data into understandable insights.
• Experience with machine learning, predictive modeling, and data mining techniques is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate data insights to diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
