We are looking for an experienced Network and Systems Engineer responsible for configuring and maintaining the company network and servers of different operating systems, such as Windows, macOS or Linux, including installing, fixing issues, and upgrading while implementing enhancements to improve performance and reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Network administration, configuration, Maintain and upgrade data communication equipment.
- Installation/Configuration/managing of Windows and Linux servers.
- Maintenance of VMware’s products (vmware ESX and vCenter) and AWS systems.
- Maintenance of IP PBX systems.
- Undertake data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments, using information from multiple sources.
- Liaising with vendors and keeping relevant stakeholders up to date with developments.
- Monitor and test system performance, prepare and deliver system performance statistics and reports.
- Problem/request Management (Internal/External) Clients.
- Analytical with good troubleshooting skills.
- Deliver IT support in several projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering.
- Relevant certification would be an added advantage(CCNA,CCNP, AWS etc).
- At least 3 years of Managing networks and servers.
- Understanding how to manage computers and other related devices on networks
- Familiar with Cloud Solutions AWS, VMware, scripting with PowerShell and Ansible.
- Understanding of patching tools and security vulnerability scanning.
- Experience in databases (MySQL) is an advantage.
